Athletic Trainer Continuing Education Courses
Athletic trainers are responsible for providing prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation to athletes as well as patients. Because of always changing technology and techniques, the National Athletic Training Association require AT’s to complete continuing education hours during certification maintenance periods.
The North American Sports Medicine Institute provides athletic trainers with several continuing education courses designed to master new techniques, sharpen current skills and knowledge in the field of athletic training, and expand on approaches that will enhance the treatment of patients. SFMA CEU Course
1.6 CEU / 16 Contact Hours
The SFMA CEU course is NATA BOC Evidence Based approved for 16 hours and allows athletic trainers an opportunity to expand their knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and breaking down dysfunctional movement patterns. Scrape, Tape, and Move: Foundation to Function Certification Course
1.6 CEU / 16 Contact Hours
The Foundation to Function athletic trainer course utilizes the SFMA screening and introduces IASTM techniques, and Kinesiology Taping to aid in restoring dysfunction in the human movement system. Exercise progressions are used to strengthen and restore muscle balance and pain free movement.
